CORFU When grooming salon owners Judy Derenda and AmyWorthington decided to help out the community with a fundraiser, itseemed a natural to go for animals.
The grcute kitten photosoomers, owners of Pet Style Salon and Amys Fluffy Friends,are hosting a pet photo day from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (or later ifnecessary) Saturday at 13 East Main St. A theme of Memories Last aLifetime is geared toward everyone who has a cherished pet andespecially for those who may want to capture their belovedfour-legged in print before its too late, both women said.
Derenda has owned Pet Styles Salon for 12 years. She welcomedWorthington to rent space for her own business in June. With thesame customer base for the past decade, Derenda has begun to losesome of them due to their pets old age.
She and Worthington agreed that it would be nice to offer everyonean opportunity to get a photo taken in time for the holidays.
This really came about for me to thank my customers for theirpatronage, Derenda said. Its such a nice thing to have a picturetaken of your pet.
